Like every night, I am prey to immobility.
I'm lying in my bed, staring at the ceiling in a deep sleep.
A strange force presses my chest,
And I feel as if every time I breathe was my last breath.
It seems like a presence watches me,
And I glimpse a raised shadow that slides towards me, whispering.
Screams drowned in terror try to escape through my throat.
I am defenseless against an unknown entity.
A strange force presses my chest,
I know a presence stares at me.
I’m afraid, it’s getting closer.
A blue glow floods the room.
Clarity unveils its figure.
Its little body is cold as ice.
Its big eyes analyze me.
They’re dark and deep as an abyss.
Its curiosity betrays it, it’s not human.
I’m its experiment, its cruel fun.
I hear its voice inside my head,
Reflecting a familiar lack of humanity.
Like every night, I’m free from immobility.
My body is sore and my mind is confused.
Memories are blurred like in an illusion.
Hours have passed on the clock as minutes to me.
The lost time has left a metallic smell.
